McLellan & Partners Ltd were founded in
1927, are based in Byfleet Surrey and provide engineering services
to an international client base. An acknowledged expertise in
providing quality services encompassing studies, design and
management for all types of modernisation, upgrade, expansion
and Greenfield projects related to the manufacturing industries,
energy, electrical power generation and distribution, building
services and utilities and the environment.
The metals sector, particular iron and steel and energy efficiency
in process industries are specialist areas of expertise.
Capital values of projects vary widely and McLellan's client
list includes project promoters, financing institutions, operating
companies - large and small - and government organisations.
McLellan has specialist expertise in strategic,
market and feasibility studies required for planning new developments
and the valuation and sale of existing manufacturing assets.
With growing interest in assessment of technical risk in project
financing and in acquisitions and privatization’s, a full capability
has been built up in carrying out technical reviews and audits
during due diligence and in preparing 'Bankable Documents'.
McLellan is currently retained as Lender's
Supervisors or Independent Engineer on several international
projects with capital values ranging from $75 million to $1500
million - a role which covers preparation of market studies,
reviews of project budgets, engineering and management, monitoring
of progress and expenditure, surveillance of manufacturing quality
and provision of ongoing technical assistance.
In the early stages of a project, short term specialist inputs
can be of particular value to the promoter. McLellan
employs a full range of permanent multi-disciplined staff who
are well used to integrating in client and consultancy teams.
